Pratap Public  School celebrates 75th anniversary of our Independence Day

The spirit of freedom  came alive as the school celebrated the 75th Independence Day with pride and patriotic zeal . 

The festivity began with the hoisting of the national flag and releasing of the tri-colour balloons to the accompaniment  of the national anthem which wafted accross the campus. Then the school contingent  marching to the beat of drum saluted the national flag.

 What made the event truly colourfull was  the agile and energetic team of young Pratapians who showcased a series of captivating synchronised drills and yogic performances.

Thereafter the mellifluous school choir paid a beautiful musical tribute to the motherland which evoked feelings of patriotism.

Next, the students expressed their gratitude to the indomitable spirit of our soldiers, the guardians of the frontiers through an electrifying dance performance.

In her characteristic inspirational address, the Director Principal  greeted the students on the special occasion and paid homage to the sung and unsung heroes of the national movement.She exhorted the students to preserve and protect the hard earned freedom by performing their duties and shouldering responsibilities faithfully.

The celebration ended with the rendition of the national anthem.Indeed it was an event which has left memories worth cherishing.

Later in the day,the Tiranga rally was flagged off to popularise 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The students carrying Tricolour and chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’marched through the city.
