VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATIONS

The saplings that we plant today guarantee a rich harvest of oxygen tomorrow....

With a  motto to spread the message of importance of trees, Pratap Public School,Main Branch, Karnal, celebrated the Van Mahotsav on 26th July 2022.  The Hon'ble DFO  Mr Jai Kumar graced the occasion with his  benign presence.

The program was attended by the esteemed  members of the management,  revered Director- principal ma'am, staff and students.

A plethora of events flooded  the stage,  beginning with a thought- provoking song  'Kahin Lupt Na Ho Jaayen Hum' by grade VII-VIII students. To  convey the message in a more realistic and effective manner,  students delivered informative speeches on various environment related issues. A mesmerizing and riveting dance performance on 'Save Trees Save Lives' was presented by grade VII-VIII students. After planting a sapling in the school premises, the chief guest distributed the  saplings among the students. In his insightful address to the audience, Mr Jai Kumar  urged everyone to save environment, conserve water and also plant a tree on their special days. The pledge to conserve trees was administered by Mr Shamsher Sharma, HOD,Hindi. Suhani from Narmada House proposed a formal vote of thanks.

 The program culminated with the rendition of the national anthem.
