PRATAP PUBLIC SCHOOL: CAREER AND UNIVERSITY FEST-2022

Pratap Public School, Jarnailly Colony in conjunction with Campus Coach organized an Online Career and University Fest for students of classes 9th to 12th on 19th January, 2022. The program, was inaugurated by Director Principal Pratap Public Schools Mrs. Poonam Navet and conducted by  Ms. Deepika Kapoor, Mr. Sudhanshu Sinha and Ms. Pooja Singh. Addressing the gathering, the Director Principal spoke on the importance of good career guidance

and the need for bridging the gap between expectation of students and the needs of the industry and how Campus Coach is playing an active role in filling this gap. Campus Coach is an endeavor of Mr. Gaurava Yadav, Founder & CEO, EduAce Services, that is playing a crucial role of information dissemination about new age careers and courses available for students to plan and pursue.

 

The first part of the session, Placement Heads & Counsellors of various Universities such as Manipal University, Atria University & Flame University, spoke about the liberal learning options available now a days for the students to take up, besides the traditional courses offered by their Universities. This was followed by an interactive Q & A session during which, the students took up their queries with the representatives of various universities. Later, in the second session, counsellors from Bennet University, BML Munjal University & Manav Rachna University, introduced the students to the various courses and learning opportunities available at their campuses & choice the students have of choosing hybrid courses instead of plain vanilla undergraduate degrees. The discussion covered several topics ranging from admission processes to benefits of liberal education and flexibility of course options available these days. The distinguished panel then took up the questions of the students in the concluding Q & A session, allaying the doubts and queries of the students about careers, colleges and academics.

 

The session proved to be extremely useful for the students and the school faculty. The need for more such sessions was expressed by all.
