Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family

" Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self"

On the occasion of International Day of Yoga an interactive session on " Health and Fitness through Yoga" was organised on 21st June.

The guest speaker Ms Nitu Bajwa, a renowned Nutrition and Fitness Coach, explained how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. She enumerated various benefits of practising yoga to all the participants. The correct ways of doing yoga asanas were demonstrated  by her through an extensive PPT.

The speaker emphasized  regular practice of yoga, good eating habits and strict  sleeping schedule for leading a better life physically, mentally and spiritually.

The Director Principal  applauded the session  and urged the students to make yoga a way of living to ensure a healthy and stress free life. She also exhorted everyone to adopt Yoga for boosting the immune system which is very much required during these difficult times. 

Overall the session was a huge success as it prepared the attendees well for the integration of their physical, mental and spiritual faculties.
