Fun with VEDIC Mathematics

Pratap Public School organised an online workshop of VEDIC Mathematics on June 10,2021 for classes  9 and 10. The sessions were presided by the Director Principal Madam Poonam Navet and attendees include the Mathematics Faculty and 220 students . The sessions began with the introduction  to Vedic Mathematics by the Activity coordinators Mr. Narender Gupta

and Ms Amita and by Ms Ramesh and Ms Sunita followed by sharing of valuable contributions of great mathematicians of all times.The students were really benefitted a lot  as the opportunity was grabbed  to learn Factorisation tricks by Vedic Mathematics by the students of 9th and 10th while of 7th & 8th grade learnt Multiplication tricks by Vedic Mathematics.They were asked tricky questions, after the explanations of the rules, and the response was overwhelming. 

  The Hon”ble Director Principal ma’am applauded the efforts made by the department especially going beyond syllabus and giving such tips and tricks which will be helpful for the  students even when they step out of the school. The  sessions  really enhanced students knowledge and will surely be a great help them to do calculations quickly with ease.
