Guest Talk: Hidden Potentials & Future Plans

The school’s recently initiated Parent Support Program has been well received by parents and students. A lot of parents have come forward to share their expertise with the students of all age groups. Under the ongoing Online Parent

Support Program, on 4th of May 2021, Guest Speaker Mr. Naresh Grover (Assistant Professor SIET) spoke to the students of grade 8 on Exploring One's Hidden Potentials and Future Planning and Achieving. Mr. Grover brought with him to the class his experience of twenty plus years in the field of technology education and mentoring students to excel.

Mr. Grover has wide experience of conducting seminars and sessions on Universal Human Values through school connect platform & he has been associated with Heartfulness Organization since 2016.  He emphasized the importance of positive self-image, stressing the need for young students to build one to grow in confidence. He focused on realizing one’s fullest potential at all stages of life and tuning them with one’s life goals. Reiterating the need for goal setting he commented that most people fail because they fail to plan. The students, in the question session, asked about the importance of schedules and timetables in their lives. Some asked about how to strike a balance between curriculum and personal growth, while others asked about how to set goals in life.

The session attended by the Director Principal Ma’am, teachers & students proved to be very useful one. The students, teachers alike were of the opinion that more such interactions in the future would surely be beneficial for the students.
