Pratap Public School celebrated its Annual Day ‘Merit Eve’ with unprecedented fanfare on Nov 30, 2019 to honour the meritorious students and teachers. The Honourable chief guest Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, MP from Karnal having a charismatic aura was welcomed by the school President Mr. Ajay Bhatia,

Secretary Mrs. Poonam Bhatia, Director-Students’ Welfare Mr. Prateek Bhatia, trustee Mrs. Chahat Bhatia, Director-Principal Mrs. Poonam Navet, Principal Dr. Puja Waalia Mann and various incharges before lighting the lamp of knowledge, The founding father of the schools Shree Rai Bahadur Pratap Singh and our Guiding Light Dr. R.S. Bhatia were fondly remembered on this occasion. Invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati the Director-Principal apprised the august gathering of the chief guest’s remarkable accomplishments. The function was laced with heartwarming Welcome Song and Dance,culturally vibrating Haryanavi and Punjabi dances and a dance drama depicting the school life which filled the audience with verve and vitality. Like every year, this year too, a cash prize of Rs. 21,000/- was awarded to Vaasu the District Topper in Commerce stream. Two cash prizes of Rs. 10,000/- each were awarded to Guneet Kaur, the District Topper in Medical stream and Chestha the school topper for their outstanding result in XII Board Exam 2019. The meritorious students of XII who have joined different professional colleges and prestigious institutions were bestowed the prizes. This year seven teachers namely Mr. Ram Niwas Chopra, Mrs. Meenu Bhutani, Mrs. Ramesh Bala, Mrs. Pushpa Garg, Mrs. Sunita Wadhwa, Mr. Sanjeev Kalra and Mrs. Sunaina Walia completed 25 years of glorious service and were awarded citations for their invaluable contribution. The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words of appreciation by the chief guest Mr. Sanjay Bhatia. He lauded and praised the school for raising the educational standard in the city.
