Teachers’ Day Celebration 2019

Pratap Public School Jarnailly Colony, Karnal solemnly celebrated teachers’ day with great gusto and gaiety on 5th Sept. 2019. The spirit of reverence and gratitude echoed in the environs of Pratap Public School. The celebration commenced with welcoming of hon’ble Director-Principal

Ma’am Poonam Navet.   Floral tributes were paid by entire teaching fraternity to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan – a philosopher, statesman and exemplary teacher who dedicated his life towards education and shaping up the youth of the country. The Director-Principal and teachers were presented saplings by the school cabinet as a token of love and respect. Chhaya from Satluj  House delivered an illuminating speech on the life and vision of great educationist-Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan. She extolled all the teachers for being the guiding light in their life. The zestful pratapians dedicated a cultural extravaganza to their mentors. The soul-stirring song and captivating play – “A Pound of Flesh” added jubilance to the event . The scintillating dance performance enthralled the audience. 

The Director-Principal Ma’am Poonam Navet extended her heartiest greetings to all and guided all the teachers to boost the confidence of students by appreciating every bit of effort made by them.

The celebration concluded with the rendition of National Anthem.
