73RD INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

On the occasion of Independence Day agile warriors and patriots of Pratap Public School, Jarnailly Colony, showcased an astounding programme which thrilled the audience with nerve and vitality by scintillating the ambience with a patriotic fervor.

Esteemed members of the management along with respected Director-Principal, Ma’am Poonam Navet added charisma to the occasion by their benign presence. “Independence Day” instills a strong feeling of patriotism and nationalism in everyone. Flag-hoisting reaffirmed our faith in our democracy and gave us a moment to revisit the glory of Indian freedom struggle and show gratitude and respect  for those who sacrificed their all for attaining freedom.

The students beaming with confidence in their stride and joy on their faces marched in a spectacular manner and became proud recipients of accolades.

There was rhythmic synchronization, robust energy and tremendous team spirit when all the participants displayed their breath taking skills during Taekwondo and Dumbell Drills.

The mesmerizing dance, “Colours of India” and mellifluous song, “Vande Matram” added jubilance    to the celebrations. The ceremony was laced with the aroma of glimmering festivities including a captivating play, Sheed-E-Azam : Bhagat Singh” and a profound  poem “Azadi Ka Mool”.

The Director-Principal, Ma’am Poonam Navet extended her heartiest greetings to all, extolled the efforts of the participants and urged the students to continuously strive to uphold India’s Unity in Diversity and country’s hard earned freedom.

All in all, the event which was an amalgamation of fun, learning and patriotism came to a close with the rendition of National Anthem and left an indelible mark on the minds of all present.
