REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

The school campus echoed with the vibrating sounds of pride and nationalism when Pratap Public School, Jarnailly Colony, Karnal celebrated the 70th Republic Day.

The occasion was graced by the benign presence of ever graceful Director-Principal Ma’am Poonam Navet and esteemed chief guest Dr. V.K. Thakur.

The proud pratapians beaming with confidence and joy marched in a spectacular manner and became proud recipients of accolades. Hoisting of National Flag, further electrified the aura with a patriotic fervor. The sight was, indeed, magnificent.

With a spring in this steps and love in their hearts, the students of PPS dressed in scintillating costumes, enthusiastically took part in the drill. The event was laced with a patriotic and foot-tapping song, a captivating dance representing Indian culture and a sprightly uplifting fashion show which filled the audience with verve and vitality. Intensely informative and highly interesting, each and every enactment left the audience spell bound.

Dr. Thakur’s address was humming and buzzing with the vital message of conscientiousness and allegiance towards our Motherland, India. He expressed his full appreciation and awe for the kaleidoscopic marvel presented by the dexterous and beaming students of Pratap Public School.

The momentous ceremony ended with the rendition of the national anthem. Through this celebration, children went home carrying a message, a realization that the onus of nurturing and protecting our India, is in their able hands.
