UN Day Celebration

On 23rd of October 2018, the United Nations Day, a mock session of the World Parliament was meticulously presented by young Pratapians. Delegates of 16 countries represented their nations and discussed the issues concerning all the countries across the globe.

At this international forum French representative apprised how France has provided a geographical and economic bridge joining the northern and southern Europe, whereas South Korea put in the picture its peace keeping operations and India its unprecedented socio-economic transformation that would help it achieve its SDG goals. Several nations talked about the existential threats of the era i.e. climate change and terrorism. The session helped students get an insight into the history, culture and achievements of various nations.

The presentation was ended with the message to unite at a common forum and discuss the strategies to overcome the problems. The Director-Principal Ma’am Poonam Navet applauded the performance of all the delegates and congratulated the Social Science Department.
