Labour Day Celebration

In keeping with its age old tradition, Pratap Public School celebrated International Labour Day with great pride and dignity on May 1, 2018. The Director-Principal Ma’am Poonam Navet graced the occasion with her benign presence. Young Pratapians saluted the labourers for their tireless hardwork through a mesmerizing song.

Thereafter the diligent support staff of PPS was felicitated with a token of appreciation by Director-Principal. Chintoo ki zid- a short play which highlighted the need of cleanliness and the contribution of each one of us for the same was appreciated and applauded by one and all. A few members of the support staff rocked the sage. Mr. Yogesh with his melodious song, Mr. Vikas with a touching poem ‘Main Mazdoor Huin’ and Mr. Bal Kishan with his speech won the hearts of audience. The Director-Principal generously awarded them with a cash prize of Rs. 1,000/- each. A Dance Drama raised voice against child labour and reminded us of children’s right to education.

The Director-Principal expressed her heartfelt greetings to the labour class, glorified the dignity of labour and emphasized the need of doing the assigned task sincerely, honestly and whole-heartedly.

The programme culminated with a formal vote of thanks by Muskaan followed by National Anthem.
