Independence Day Celebration

The 71st Independence Day was celebrated in all it solemnity and grandeur at Pratap Public School. The solemn occasion was graced by the august presence of Dr. Radhey Shyam Sharma former Vice Chancellor of Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar and Vice President Mrs. Deepika Bhatia.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the tricolor by the Chief Guest followed by March past.

The young patriots took pride in celebrating the spirit of unity with hearts full of zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism. A plethora of activities like Dumble-bell, dance, play and a skit on road safety left the audience speechless and enraptured with the vitality of their talent. It was a proud moment to watch the students dance like a dream and spread the essence of Tricolor wrapped in emotions and pride for our mother land.

The Chief Guest greeted the audience and motivated them to follow the constitution and be the harbinger of a social change and lead India so that the world could actually see India shining in the near future. He also urged the students to respect one another, be disciplined be selfless in their service and contribute to the nation. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country.

The momentous ceremony ended with the rendition of the national anthem.
