Road Safety Week 2017

‘Safety is not just a slogan, It’s a way of life’

Road safety does not happen accidentlly but requires deliberate efforts by all. To enlighten the students about the need to have safe roads, road safety week celebrations were held in Pratap Public School on 12th Jan, 2017. 

A special team comprising of HCS Mr. Praduman Singh, DRA Karnal Mr. Raghbir Dhiman, President RSO Karnal Mr. J.R. Kalra, General Secretary Mr. Raman Midha and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, a leading social activist of Karnal and Hon’ble HCS Mr. Praduman enlightened the students about road safety and motivated them to contribute their bit to maintain safety on roads.

Two thought provoking Nukkad nataks titled ‘Follow Traffic Rules’ and Zindagi na Milagee Dobara’ were staged by the students of V.P. International School, Karnal and Artists of Shuruwat Samiti respectively.

At the culmination the Director-Principal Ms. Poonam Navet proposed a formal vote of thanks. She also ensured that Pratapians would become role models for the society.

It was indeed a rich learning for the students as they learnt and gained in-depth knowledge about road safety. They propagated the message in a wonderful way and created awareness among the audience.
