22nd Sports Meet

Pratap Public school’s 22nd Annual Sports Meet held on Saturday, 19th November 2016 was the much awaited event in the school calendar. The function commenced with the welcoming of the esteemed members of the Management. Activity Incharge Ma’am Kanika and Administrator Mr. Parveen Kumar pinned up the badges on to the dignitaries. It was followed by hoisting of the school flag.

The athletes in their colourful house T-shirts marched past in perfect sync with the beats of the Brass Band thereby fascinating one and all. The meet was formally declared open by the Director-Principal Mrs. Poonam Navet, amidst thunderous applause. The school sports captain administered the oath to the athletes.

The bevy of events for the day included Kho-kho, Volley ball and Basket ball matches for various groups.

As the students’ wild cheers rent the air, the athletes with grit and determination, raced  to achieve victory and glory for their respective houses.

The musical chair game for the zestful teachers and one-legged race for the diligent support staff caused quite a stir among the audience.

Thereafter, Hon’ble Director-Principal ma’am presented a memento to the revered President Pratap Public Schools, Mr. Ajay Bhatia.

The meet was declared closed following the lowering of the flag.

All gathered dispersed with the expectations of yet another exciting, closely contested sports meet the following year.
