INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2016

Promises to keep .....................

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more do more and become more, then you are a ‘leader’. The auspicious morning of April 27, 2016 witnessed the

grand investiture ceremony for the academic session 2016-17 in the premises of Pratap Public School. The solemn occasion was graced by the august presence of Secretary Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, Joint Secretary

Mrs. Poonam Bhatia, our worthy Director-Principal Mrs. Poonam Navet and Incharge Jr. wing Ms. Chavi Madaan.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial march past by the young brigade of Pratap Public School. Amidst the galore of the gathering, the cabinet members marched sprightly and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to the school ground for the proceedings. The Director-Principal Ms. Poonam Navet administered the oath and the school cabined pledged to work earnestly and to adhere to the values and principles up held by the school. They promised to take the school to newer heights and resplendence. The newly appointed council were adorned with sashes from the esteemed guests. Donning the mantle of responsibility the school cabinet expressed their willingness to shoulder their duties with sincerity and diligence.

The outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl walked down the memory lane as they recalled their experiences as the leaders of the school. The school choir initiated the programme with the inspiring song ‘We shall overcome……..’

The Director-Principal Ms. Poonam Navet congratulated the newly appointed school cabinet and motivated them by stating that with faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that one cannot achieve. She added that with power comes great responsibility and urged them to be role models for other students .

The momentous ceremony ended with the rendition of the national anthem. It was a memorable occasion for the young leaders as they looked forward to a new, eventful and enriching academic year.
